How to get slack notification after a calendly booking
It's good to have all notifications set up in a central location so you don't have to jump constantly between tools all the time. If that's slack for you, consider this setup.
1. Go to zapier.com and find Calendly in zaps.(You can also use integromat/integrately which are more economic)
2. Click on Choose an event. This is the activity that starts the process.
3. Choose Invitee created and Continue
4. Now you need to Sign in to Calendly
5. On the top menu, click on 'Integrations'
6. You'll find the calendly API key here. Grab it!
7. Enter the key into to the zapier window.
8. Click on Continue
9. Click on Test trigger. You'd need to test it to make sure everything's working.
10. Click on Continue
11. Find the Slack zap
12. Choose "Send Channel Message". Or you can choose to message yourself :)
13. Click on Continue
14. Click on Sign in to Slack
15. Note: If slack is restricting zapier, then you can turn it on in slack admin
16. Click on Allow
17. Click on Continue
18. Click on Pick a channel...
19. Choose the slack channel to send messages to
20. Test the zap
21. Match the relevant fields
22. Click on Test & Continue
23. Here we go! Turn on the zap and you'll start receiving alerts.
